The technology
A brief overview
The fundamental philosophy behind FACT-Finder is automation. We develop FACT-Finder with a fixed view toward solving problems permanently, so that manual effort is no longer necessary. At junctures where performance is a critical concern, we use highly optimized routines that perform (for example) searches, sorting, and grouping the results. The software code is written in the C programming language, or occasionally direct in assembler code.
FACT-Finder can be controlled using open standards such as XML and Web Services, making the integration easier for our customers and business partners.
FACT-Finder: the solution for ecommerce
Even though our technology could easily be used to search for documents, knowledge databases, or e-mails, etc., we concentrate primarily on requirements needed for ecommerce. The foremost question for the development of new features and modules is "What is best for online retailers?"

Install FACT-Finder directly on the shop system's server, or on one or more independent search servers. The previous search function is simply replaced.
FACT-Finder is flexible, and the architecture, availability, and configuration may be customized to fit your requirements exactly. Even associations between unusual (or completely different) keywords (such as "jeans" and "pants") are easily made with the convenient Thesaurus feature.
